Bob Dylan on Phantom 102.5
9th October 2007

Bob DylanThis Sunday November 11 marks the first birthday of Irish radio station Phantom 105.2, and to celebrate they are proudly announcing the addition of a new DJ on their roster – none other than US music legend Bob Dylan.

‘Theme Time Radio Hour’ features an electic mix of music picked by Dylan himself, alongside interviews and discussion on a variety of topics. “A lot of my own songs have been played on the radio, but this is the first time I’ve ever been on the other side of the mic.”

The show centres on unusual playlists based on themes such as ‘weather’ with example tracks being ‘The Wind Cries Mary’ by Jimi Hendrix, and ‘Keep On The Sunny Side’ by The Carter Family. Other themes chosen on the show are as far-ranging as ‘police’ and ‘whiskey’.

“In our first year we worked hard to meet the needs of our existing listeners while attracting new fans.” said Ger Row, Phantom’s Managing Director. “We have always prided ourselves on our dynamic schedule, and Theme Time Radio Hour reflects this perfectly.”

Bob Dylan’s ‘Theme Time Radio Hour’ is broadcast on Sundays 9pm-10pm.
