The Answer Head Home
9th October 2008

Downpatrick’s hairiest, The Answer, have announced a homecoming show at Belfast’s Spring & Airbrake on October 6. The hard rocking four-piece have been in L.A. recording their second album, which is due out early next year. The band’s debut, 2006′s Rise, was widely acclaimed and led to arena and stadium supports with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, The Who and Aerosmith, as well as having a song on the next edition of the all-conquering Guitar Hero game.

According to the band, the Belfast date will be their last headline show for quite some time, as they are about to jet back across the Atlantic. Singer Cormac Neeson said: “We are heading off to America for a few months so we wanted to put on a last minute gig for all the good people that have been with The Answer from the beginning. Belfast is where we cut our teeth as a rock band so we will keep coming back to play there any chance we get. We will be playing material off our new record and some of the old songs. It’s gonna be a great night, so don’t miss it!”
