The No Alibis bookshop has emerged as a leading venue for intimate acoustic gigs in Belfast, and on the Saturday before Christmas, December 18 it will play host to two of the city’s brightest young artists, John D’Arcy and Isobel Anderson (pictured). D’Arcy has recently diversified into electrified power-pop, but he has promised to “dust off his acoustic guitar to rediscover a collection of his songs in his unique quirky style”. Anderson, meanwhile, will showcase tracks from her sublime Cold Water Songs EP, which you can listen to below. Check out the poster too, designed by sometime AU illustrator Stephen Maurice Graham.
