Exclusive: Download a track from The Minutes

Don’t say we’re not good to you. Well in advance of its official release date on 13 February, we have an exclusive download of an early demo version of Dublin rock n’ roll three-piece The Minutes ballsy new single, ‘Heartbreaker’. Visceral, urgent and just that bit more gutsy than previous singles ‘Harmonic’ and ‘Black Keys’, it shows real progression and true potential for the band’s debut album Marcata, which is set for a UK release on 30 January via Model Citizen Records. Though only a mere 127 seconds in length, frontman Mark Austin and co. waste no time in getting their message across: no-frills, kickass rock n’ roll – long may it continue.

The band have also announced details of their forthcoming UK tour. The dates are:

February 22nd The Barfly, London
February 23rd: The Prince Albert, Brighton
February 24th. The Thekla Top Deck, Bristol
February 25th. Rock City (club), Nottingham
February 26th Sound Control, Manchester
March 21st Stereo, York
March 22nd King Tuts, Glasgow
March 23rd Electric Circus, Edinburgh
March 24th Cafe Drummonds, Aberdeen
March 27th Central Station, Wrexham
March 28th Academy 3, Birmingham
March 30th, The Corner House, Cambridge.
