Irish electronic artists launch Fundit campaign
19th January 2012

Exciting news here, as a host of Ireland’s most promising electronic talents have joined forces under the ‘Lightbox’ banner. The artists involved (Bantum, Monto, Reid, SertOne (pictured), Simon Bird, Tenaka) have joined up with media designer Brendan Canty ( a.k.a. Feel Good Lost) due to their shared appreciation of visual-based music hardware. The collective are embarking on a mini tour of Ireland before heading over to London and Brighton.

Each gig will also be preceded by a workshop showcasing the types of software and equipment that the guys use, so it promises to be a real treat for electronic music nerds. In order to tour their wares across the land as well as keep the price down for consumers, Lightbox have set up a Fundit page where you can donate. Those who contribute can receive a range of CDs, goody bags, and more.

Check out the promo video for the tour below.

Lightbox tour dates:

February 23: The Pavilion, Cork

February 25: Twisted Pepper, Dublin

February 26: The Wicked Chicken, Limerick

March 1: The Roisin Dubh, Galway

Belfast & Waterford dates TBA.
