Performing their only UK show of 2012, Brooklyn indie-rockers The National have been announced as curators for this year’s Nightmare Before Christmas as part of the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival. Taking place from 7-9 December in Minehead, England, an unsurprisingly eclectic line-up is shaping up with the likes of The Antlers, Tim Hecker and Kronos Quartet having already been announced to play. Just as tempting, the event will be preceded by the Mogwai-curated I’ll Be Your Mirror in May, another ATP annual event based in London that will feature much-anticipated performances from the likes of Melvins, Dirty Three and Codeine. Tickets for Nightmare Before Christmas go on sale via Gigantic and ATP on Friday 20 January, priced £170-£180.
With 26 more acts yet to be announced, the current line-up is as follows:
The National
The Antlers
Owen Pallett
Boris
Tim Hecker
Sharon Van Etten
Lower Dens
Wye Oak
My Brightest Diamond
Megafaun
Kronos Quartet
