Love, like or indeed loathe her, Madonna has announced that the her twelfth studio album, MDNA, will be released in Ireland on 23 March. The follow-up to Hard Candy, which reached no. 1 in 37 countries in 2008, it’s almost certain to see yet more fearless reinvention from Miss Ciccone, particularly if the presence of Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. on forthcoming single, ‘Give Me All Your Luvin”, is anything to go by. The track – released three days before her highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday 5 February – will premiere on Madonna’s YouTube channel on 3 February at 2pm (GMT). MDNA, recorded in LA and New York, reunites Madonna with former collaborator William Orbit (‘Ray Of Light’) who also co-wrote and co-produced several songs on the new album. Other co-producers incude The Demolition Crew, Martin Solveig and Marco “Benny” Benassi. Should certainly be interesting, if nothing else…
