Ash have announced summer tour dates in the UK and Ireland, including one night at the Emirates Stadium on June 1 and a single Irish show at the Helium Festival in Longford on June 9. The band will tour in support of their best-of album, which follows the 26-song A-Z singles collection released between October 2009 and September 2010.

More recently, Tim Wheeler found himself competing for votes in BBC Radio Ulster’s ‘Great Northern Songbook’, which selected songs from Northern Irish artists to be performed by the Ulster Orchestra in Belfast on May 22.
