
It appears this track has been knocking around for a while, but on March 29, Young Turks Records will release it as part of the debut 12″ by LA’s Cameron Mesirow (female despite the name). As Glasser, she has just completed a short UK tour with The xx, and Jamie xx contributes a stellar remix to the single, as do Romantic Three and (most winningly) British electro/disco producer Astronomer.
The title track is an eerie morsel of electronic folk, like Fairport Convention filtered through a 21st century prism, with fluttering synths, tribal percussion and Mesirow’s gossamer-light vocals. Definitely one to watch.
