Watch: Fever Ray - ‘Stranger Than Kindness’

Fever Ray’s debut album is the gift that just keeps on giving. Not only is Karin Dreijer Andersson’s debut solo album one of the finest of the year, and one that has spawned several creepy-as-fuck videos, it’s being re-released in super-duper-deluxe form with two covers (of Vashti Bunyan’s ‘Here Before’ and Nick Cave’s ‘Stranger Than Kindness’, a bonus disc featuring a full live show and a DVD with all the videos.

Speaking of videos, here’s the latest, a typically spooky offering to soundtrack that Nick Cave cover. It’s full of detached vocals, a ricocheting bassline and (towards the end) a head-nodding halfstep rhythm. It’s surely ripe for some choice dubstep remixes, no? We recommend watching with all the lights off, by the way - sitting at your desk in mid-afternoon probably doesn’t quite do it justice… (via DiS)
