
New Young Pony Club have been forced to postpone this weekend’s gigs in Cork, (Thursday), Belfast (Friday) and Dublin (Saturday). The reason given is that singer Ty Bulmer is ill, and the dates are to be rescheduled for late May.

This Friday, March 12, sees the return to these economically-ravaged shores (sans the rest of Animal Collective) of Mr Noah Lennox, aka Panda Bear, with a headline show in Vicar Street being dangled tantalisingly in front of us by Foggy Notions.
Lennox’ powerful influence on the direction of Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavilion, one of 2009’s most critically-acclaimed albums, cannot be underestimated, and considering the mastery of his last solo album, 2007’s Person Pitch, this has all the hallmarks of being a truly epic installation in the 2010 gig roster.
