Hercules & Love Affair Announce Dublin Show

After emerging in a big way last year with their self-titled debut album and a massive single in ‘Blind’ (featuring Antony Hegarty), nu-disco act Hercules & Love Affair have spent 2009 releasing a mix CD and doing lots of touring. And after becoming one of the bands of the weekend at Electric Picnic 2008, Andrew Butler’s New York crew return to Ireland on Saturday, December 12 to round off their current European tour with a live show at the Tripod in Dublin.

The current line-up is sadly missing the androgynous vocalist and dancer Nomi, but it does feature Kim Ann (pictured with Butler), who provided vocals for album cuts ‘Athene’, ‘Irish’ and ‘True/False, Fake/Real’. Support comes from Jason Kending, Neosupervital, Veda and Subject DJs. Doors at 10pm, tickets are €20 (inc. booking fee).
