Indie-rockers Ed For Glastonbury

Ed Zealous bag coveted BBC Introducing Stage slot

Belfast-based Ed Zealous have been confirmed for this year’s Glastonbury Festival. The band who have been championed by BBC DJs Rory McConnell and Tom Robinson will be performing on the BBC Introducing Stage on Sunday, June 29. They are the only Northern Irish act to have secured a slot on the stage.

Momentum has been gathering behind the five-piece of late with their first official single the alluring ‘Pretty Face’ to be launched on Not Rocket Records on July 7.

Of their Glasto date, drummer Paul Irwin had this to say, “It’s an amazing opportunity and we’re really excited to have the chance to play at the UK’s biggest and best festival. I only hope it doesn’t rain!”
