Last year’s inaugural Oscillations Festival in Belfast was a roaring success, 10 days of gigs, film screenings and assorted other events with the emphasis on experimentation and a DIY attitude. It’ll be back in September for another go, but in the meantime the organisers have announced series of five warm-up events during July and August. The highlights include a line-up launch party at a secret location on Saturday July 4, link-ups with the trans and Curfew Festivals and, most excitingly, Brooklyn psych/kraut band Oneida (pictured), who release their 10th album this summer. Full details of the warm-up events are after the jump.
