Sleeveface yourself!

The most fun you can have with LP covers

If you didn’t already know, Sleeveface is the latest craze sweeping the more silly sections of the internet. Basically, you hold an LP up to your face and in such a way that you blend in to it. Sounds crap, looks hilarious - (see left for proof).

And now it’s your turn, as Oxfam Ireland have launched a competition to find the face of ClearUrMusic Month, starting April 1.

“Oxfam Ireland loved the great works of art at www.sleeveface.com so much that we decided to launch a Sleeveface competition of our very own, with the winning photo set to become the poster ‘face’ for ClearURMusic Month,” said Peter Tomlinson, Oxfam Ireland’s Business Development Manager. “So dust off your soulful, striking, glamorous and just plain cheesy record covers – Oxfam Ireland wants you to Sleeveface them! If you don’t already have a suitable album on vinyl, why not drop in to your local Oxfam Ireland shop and see what’s available there?”

To enter, email your pictures to webmaster@oxfamireland.org, but be quick - the deadline is this Monday, March 24. The best entries so far are available to view and giggle at if you head over to Flickr (click) . Don’t forget to email your entries to stu@iheartau.com as well and we’ll publish the best on the site.
