Warning: Postal Service Delay
Ben Gibbard cool on second album
We had hoped that 2009 would be the year when Postal Service finally delivered their second album, instead it seems like the waiting and hoping game will have to continue for some considerable time. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Ben Gibbard has declared that a new album is far from a priority for him and bandmate Jimmy Tamborello. “The anticipation of the second record has been a far bigger deal for everybody except the two of us,” was his verdict. Gibbard even talked about the record in terms of it being the indie Chinese Democracy before providing a scintilla of hope when he revealed that, “We work from time to time together but we have other things that take up all of our time.”
