dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip - Letter From God To Man
Radiohead’s The Bends is an album that many of us hold very close to our hearts. The thought of a couple of young upstarts taking ‘Planet Telex’ and ripping, chipping and chopping it up is more than enough to raise a few hackles. This is indeed what the aforementioned duo have done, but please, all Radiohead fans, please, give this track a listen before passing judgement.
Thom Yorke’s melancholy intonations are the perfect compliment to Scroobius Pip’s literate, social critique, delivered, as it were, from the mouth of God. dan le sac’s superlative cut and paste skills take this track all the way into ‘epic’ territory, guaranteeing an enthusiastic dance floor audience. And if all this isn’t enough for the Radiohead purist in you, you might like to know that the single also includes a B-side remix by the bands unofficial sixth member and regular producer, Nigel Godrich. Additional remixes come courtesy of PolarBear, we thee! and DJ Sega. Aaron Kennedy
